Detox is a album that Hip-Hop producer Dr.Dre that has be announced to be in production Sine 2003ish.
The site is full of great information, the information about detox is on the site almost as soon as it is released. Now to the actual layout of the site ethics is we're I become a bit more critical as the website has a very basic design. There is no images helping make the layout of the site look good, the site is mostly just boxes of code with an image of Dr.Dre on the right hand side. On the top it has a sub section for each *Leaked* Detox songs. As well the site has polls about what you think about the tracks. The big problem with this site for me is the lack of a banner I think having one would add to the site significantly.
For what the site has and everything about it I would give it a 4/5 because the actual website is not outstanding.

http://www.gamedev.net

This is a site where video game developers both hobbyist and professional can go to discuss a wide variety of topics relating to creating video games. It's focused on programming, but there are lively sections for those more interested in other aspects of development, such as design of the game (i.e. rules, theme, style, story, etc.), music and sounds, and visual art. I personally have posted a few times to help people as well as request help myself.

The community is large, so you'll get everyone from newbies to pros and trolls to saints. However, for the most part as long as you don't be incredibly stupid the community sticks to a constructive, logical discussion.

The website went through a pretty major overhaul about a year ago, moving from a proprietary (iirc) discussion system to the Invision Power Board. For a while, they had problems with server resource usage, to the point where they had to disable one of the more useful features a forum can have: marking which threads have been read. However, they seem to have gotten it sorted out and this very useful feature is in place today.

One of the things I dislike about the site is that they've made it very hard to get a user avatar, something most forums either disable completely or make available for everyone. They did this since you're supposed to have an upgraded account to be able to change your profile picture, but if you can figure out the loophole you can get a kind of buggy avatar working.

Another thing I dislike is that the website feels very cluttered. Especially on the landing page where there's 4 tabs for the main article list, as well as 7 (!) side boxes. In the end it just feels like there are boxes and things everywhere that are all competing for my attention, and all blend in to the background.

Overall I would say that as a place to get help with developing a video game, this site is great, with a very helpful community. From a usability standpoint, I'd give it a 3.5. It works, but it's kind of meh.

This site isn't so much about cracking computer security (though there is some) as it is about making things do stuff it wasn't meant to, building low cost solutions with interesting materials, and electrical engineering.

I enjoy visiting this site every day, because even though I don't have the money to get in to building electronics or have anything I need to improve upon, some of the projects presented here are wonderful.

They prefer to post projects that are open, giving either circuit designs, code, or thoroughly explained processes, making it easier for people to reproduce or ideally improve upon.

The key issues are with the (rather poor) stereotypical techie theme to the site, misspellings being common, and the ever-present stupid commenters.

Overall I'd give the site 4/5, because the minor spelling issues and the meh theme don't get in the way of the information being presented all that much.

This is a niche website for a subcategory of Gamers who are into historical or more hardcore wargames. These sort of games tend to not exactly have a mass market appeal, and so I think this website needs to be viewed taking that into account.

Having said that, as a hardcore wargamer i've turned to this website for over 10 years now to find out the latest news about new games coming out. Many of these games are produced independantly or by small shops and so do not have a lot of ways or $$$ to get the message out about their games.

While the website itself is a little dated and the content not always exactly professionally presented the content itself is what really matters to me, and i've turned to this website for information about the most obscure wargames, and have rarely been disappointed by wargamer.com

Recently, a friend of mine was considering replacing his computer's motherboard. Not wanting to wait for it to ship from NewEgg, we decided to check to see if Fry's had a similar one that met the specs we needed, and decided to go with checking the website before actually going to the store.

I loathe the Fry's website. Especially compared to NewEgg's, the Fry's site just feels outdated. The design is cluttered and looks like it's from the early to mid 2000s. I can live with so-so looks as long as the site is easy to use. This is not the case here. Browsing is nowhere near as organized, and searching is useless unless you know exactly what you're looking for. The categories could be separated out better (when I see "electronic components" I think capacitors and resistors, not motherboards and video cards. That should be in a category called "PC components" or something) and the user should have better filtering options.

On top of that the info listed is... well, it's not wrong, so much as not as detailed as it should be. Bringing back the motherboard example, we decided to compare the listing on the Fry's site to the listing on NewEgg to see price differences and whatnot. The prices were the same, however NewEgg listed the motherboard as having PCI Express 2.0 x16, whereas Frys left off the 2.0 part. Since it was that 2.0 that we were specifically looking for, we would have completely skipped that product and not found what we were looking for had we not had the idea to compare it on another site first.

Of course, there are reasons NewEgg's website is so far more usable than Fry's. NewEgg doesn't have a physical store that you can walk in to, so their website has to be top notch. Fry's, on the other hand, has stores where you can go and talk face to face with a real person. Overall, I'd say the Fry's site is usable, but could use much improvement; especially since they have an online competitor to be compared to.

The Edgley forums is the fiery aftermath of several domain name changes and forum explosions.

The goal has always been a place for the slightly geeky inclined to have a place to get together and talk about slightly geeky things. I guess it's a general forum with a technology sway.

Currently the forum is only a few weeks old, but already we have several active users looking for an excuse to talk about computers, cars and games.

At Edgley Forums we also pride ourselves as valuing a high level of privacy to the user base, with almost all user information being optional (excluding DOB which can be hidden), a tightly nit admin team who all value privacy and soon to have a dedicated IP with an SSL certifcate.

We also pride ourselves on user liberties, doing our best to reduce bureaucratic rules and regulations that the users have to endure and put the responsibility into the users hands. Of course we all need a little direction, and so we try to steer our users towards an accepting community that is available to all (as many as applicable of course) races, creeds, genders, sexualities and disabilities.
The album was recorded as a sort of side project while on tour for Plastic Beach in North America, from what I gather mostly using apps for the iPad for synth and mixing.

This album for the most part has a relatively mellow feel, nice for relaxing after a long day and doing a good job of capturing the feel of a good road trip. My personal favorite songs would probably be (in no particular order) Phoner to Arizona, Revolving Doors, Amarillo, Little Pink Plastic Bags, and Aspen Forest.
My personal favorite songs would probably be (in no particular order) Phoner to Arizona, Revolving Doors, Amarillo, Little Pink Plastic Bags, and Aspen Forest.

The rules for this forum differ slightly from the Showcase forum, in that because the owner of the website you're rating isn't asking for your reviews, your criticism doesn't necessarily have to be constructive. Trolling is still not allowed, and we'll still deal with it as we deem necessary. Also, if you review a website here that's already in the Showcase forum, we'll merge the threads to keep duplicate content down. If your post doesn't meet the rule requirements then we'll send you a notification so you can update it.

Google.com is a website that allows users to search the internet for other websites. Google is currently the most popular search engine and comes as the default search engine for many if not most browsers.

Pros:
-Google has a simple layout that makes it easy for all users to read and find webpages.

-Google has the option to show only certain sites such as those with a lower reading level.

-Google not only allows a web based search but also allows a web based picture search.

-Google has a search that allows users to look on the web for videos. You can select different durrations. You can select when the video was uploaded as well as the source the video came from.

-With Google you can select the type of content you want to see, this helps you not see adult themed sites when searching.

-Google can search for locations in the world and give you a map from one place to another. With a second place such as "pizza" it will tell you all the pizza places near the first location you have selected.

-You can search a topic and get all the recent news for that topic with the news tab in Google

-Google shopping lets you search an item and it will list places that you can buy it and the cost of the item from that site

-Gmail is a free email service thanks to google. Gmail has many options and is commonly used

I will add more information to this post at request.
